Bengaluru: Jobs and talent platform foundit (formerly Monster APAC & ME) has announced the appointment of Tarun Sharma as its Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). This strategic addition to the leadership team underscores foundit’s commitment to accelerating innovation and delivering smarter, AI-powered recruitment solutions across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
In his new role, Tarun will spearhead product strategy and technology development, furthering foundit’s mission to match the right talent with the right opportunities through data-driven, intuitive experiences.

Tarun brings over two decades of experience across global technology firms, having held leadership positions at PayPal, Yahoo, Walmart, Naukri.com, and most recently, Maersk, where he led digital transformation and platform modernization for global logistics. His career spans fintech, e-commerce, recruitment, and enterprise technology, with a strong track record of delivering impact through user-first, data-led solutions.

His expertise covers digital payments, machine learning, search monetization, and scalable product architecture—skills that will be vital as foundit continues to innovate in a competitive and fast-evolving talent tech market.
Tarun holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from NIT Durgapur.
