GEOX reveals a new AW24/25 campaign with Penélope Cruz as ambassador

Mumbai: GEOX, an Italian footwear and fashion brand, has announced that Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz will once again be the face of its brand, starring in the Autumn/Winter 24/25 campaign. After her successful collaboration with the brand in a previous campaign, GEOX is excited to have the celebrated actress return as its ambassador, bringing her charm and elegance to the forefront once more.

“We are glad to have Penélope Cruz by our side again,” said Mario Moretti Polegato, Founder and Chairman of GEOX. “A versatile actress and a woman of great charisma, she is an artist who embodies to perfection GEOX’s contemporary core and international flair.”

The new campaign was shot in New York City, a fitting backdrop for the globally recognized actress who personifies the energy, diversity, and dynamism of the city. The location itself—an emblem of cosmopolitan style—was chosen to mirror the brand’s ethos of modernity and innovation. The campaign carries a theme of “breathing,” a key concept that has always been central to GEOX’s identity, symbolizing comfort, freedom, and fresh air, both literally and metaphorically.

Penélope Cruz is captured in various scenes, each reflecting the vibrancy and pace of New York City. In one striking image, she stands atop a rooftop with the skyline stretching behind her, embodying the spirit of the city. Other visuals feature her walking past the iconic architecture of Manhattan, while another frame captures her next to a classic yellow taxi, perfectly encapsulating the energy of the city that never sleeps.

The campaign visually connects Penélope’s personal style with the versatility and comfort of GEOX’s products. It tells a story of a woman who not only explores the world but does so with grace and comfort, thanks to the brand’s innovative footwear and outerwear. The comfort that GEOX offers enhances the actor’s ability to embrace both the bustling streets of New York and the moments of calm between.

This collaboration goes beyond just the campaign. GEOX has also announced an exciting new project in partnership with Penélope Cruz for the upcoming season—a special Capsule Collection designed by the actress in collaboration with her sister, Mónica Cruz. This limited-edition collection will feature an exclusive range of footwear and outerwear, designed to reflect both Penélope’s personal style and GEOX’s commitment to comfort and elegance.

The images for the campaign were shot by the acclaimed creative duo Hunter & Gatti, while the soundtrack for the visuals was composed by Eduardo Cruz, Penélope’s brother. The campaign was conceptualized and curated by M&C Saatchi, Milan.

With this new partnership and campaign, GEOX continues to strengthen its presence as a global leader in stylish, comfortable, and innovative footwear and fashion. The collaboration with Penélope Cruz is set to inspire new audiences while reinforcing the brand’s mission to bring comfort and style to the modern woman.
