Godrej Properties wins Builder of the year at CNBC-Awaaz’s 12th National Real Estate Awards

Mumbai: Hindi Business News channel, CNBC-AWAAZ hosted the 12th Real Estate Awards 2017-18 presented by RR Kabel last week in New Delhi. The awards were conceptualised to recognize and honor the endeavours of those entities who have played a vital role in the development and growth of the real estate industry.  The evening was hosted by Mr. Vipin Bhatt, Real Estate Editor and Senior Anchor at CNBC-AWAAZ and Priyanka Sambhav, Editor – Consumer Affairs at CNBC-AWAAZ, with Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister (IC), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs gracing the event as the honourable Chief guest.

Despite unfavorable economic conditions in last few years, it’s the tenacity and strategic thinking of these highly-driven entities that has ensured the Real Estate sector doesn’t just survive but also serves as a catalyst for rapid urbanization and changing lifestyles and aspirations of the Indian consumer. The evening commenced with an opening address by Mr. Vipin Bhatt followed by a welcome note by Alok Joshi, Managing Editor, CNBC-AWAAZ & CNBC-Bajar who set the tone for the evening. This was followed by a panel discussion between Shreegopal Kabra, MD, RR Global, Mr. Gautam Chatterjee, Chairperson, Maharashtra RERA, Mr. Getamber Anand, Chairman, CREDAI, Mr Manoj Gaur, Md, Gaursons India Ltd., Mr. Sunil Rohokale, CEO-MD, ASK Investment Managers Ltd, and Mr. Anshuman Magazine, Chairman- CBRE moderated by Mr. Vipin Bhatt on the ‘Vision that the industry has for 2018, the change agenda, revival and reforms’.

The evening also witnessed the launch of the Charter Book. Following which was the felicitation of the special categories that included Lifetime Achievement Award, Builder Of The Year and Best Home Loan Provider amongst others.
