Hamdard Laboratories launches ‘Holistic Healing’ campaign on World Health Day 2026 to promote integrative healthcare

Mumbai: Hamdard Laboratories has unveiled its nationwide ‘Holistic Healing’ campaign on the occasion of World Health Day 2026, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, preventive, and community-driven healthcare.

The campaign focuses on strengthening integrative healthcare by combining research, education, and practitioner engagement, while promoting a holistic approach that aligns the mind, body, and environment. It also seeks to address the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular conditions, which continue to pose a significant public health challenge in India.

Through ‘Holistic Healing’, Hamdard Laboratories is consolidating its ongoing initiatives around knowledge sharing, industry collaboration, and healthcare practitioner engagement under a unified framework. The campaign leverages digital platforms to disseminate educational content, practical health tips, and awareness around preventive care, lifestyle management, and early intervention.

Looking ahead, the initiative will expand into a series of on-ground engagements across major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Srinagar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata, and Calicut. These will include Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes, Unani and AYUSH conclaves, research-driven summits, and recognition platforms celebrating contributions to community health.

The campaign also integrates Hamdard’s ‘Unani Ki Kahani’ initiative, which aims to make traditional medicine more accessible to younger audiences through storytelling. Coinciding with the company’s 120-year milestone and its presence on Discovery Channel, the initiative seeks to bridge perception gaps around natural and preventive healthcare.

In collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH, the campaign will further extend its outreach through public awareness programmes focused on preventive health and lifestyle practices.

Speaking on the initiative, Abdul Majeed, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Hamdard Laboratories, said, “True health extends beyond the absence of illness; it lies in achieving harmony between the body, mind, and environment, and in the ability to flourish at every stage of life. For over 120 years, Hamdard has remained deeply committed to advancing preventive healthcare, working closely with the AYUSH ecosystem to promote time-tested, holistic approaches to wellness. Through the ‘Holistic Healing’ campaign, we are creating meaningful platforms for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and community engagement. All our engagements are aimed at bringing together students, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and communities, ensuring a collaborative approach to health awareness. Our goal is to empower individuals and communities with the understanding and tools to prevent diseases, manage lifestyle risks, and embrace wellness in its fullest sense.”

Through this initiative, Hamdard Laboratories aims to deepen awareness around preventive healthcare and inspire individuals to adopt healthier, more mindful lifestyles, while demonstrating the long-term value of integrative, holistic approaches to well-being.
