Mumbai: Honasa Consumer Limited, the parent company of Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth’s, and Staze Beauty, has announced the appointment of Yatish Bhargava as Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective June 17.
With over 17 years of experience in P&L management and leading large-scale teams across general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce, Yatish brings deep expertise in scaling consumer businesses. Prior to joining Honasa, he held leadership positions at Flipkart and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he led category transformations and developed high-impact, scalable go-to-market strategies.
“Yatish has led category transformation, built scalable go-to-market strategies, and driven sustained growth across diverse consumer businesses,” Honasa Consumer noted in a stock exchange filing.
An alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Yatish’s appointment comes as Honasa strengthens its leadership to support its evolution into a “future-ready house of brands.” Earlier this year, the company named Karan Bajwa as Chief Human Resources Officer and Avinash Dhagat as Chief Supply Chain Officer.
During its Q4FY25 earnings call, Varun Alagh, Chairman, CEO, and Co-founder of Honasa Consumer, described FY25 as a year of “learning, focus, and disciplined execution,” adding that strategic pivots are now delivering results—especially in digital and modern trade channels, where several core categories like facewash, shampoo, sunscreen, moisturizers, and baby care posted double-digit growth.
Honasa also reported a 15% increase in advertising expenditure, touching ₹184 crore in Q4FY25, and highlighted its expanding retail footprint, having billed over 100,000 unique outlets during the fiscal year.
