Mumbai: Hoopr has partnered with Budding Influencers, a dynamic influencer network, to address one of the most pressing issues in digital content creation today—copyright compliance. Through this collaboration, creators will gain access to Hoopr’s extensive library of copyright-safe music and educational resources, ensuring they can produce engaging branded content without the risk of copyright violations.

Content creators frequently face challenges related to the unauthorized use of copyrighted music, which can lead to serious legal repercussions, including content takedowns, penalties, and brand disputes. According to Hoopr’s internal research, 87% of Indian influencers use unlicensed music, leading to copyright claims. Additionally, a study by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) revealed that among India’s top 100 digital stars, 69% failed to meet social media disclosure guidelines, including music usage violations.

With the surge in social media-driven marketing and influencer-led brand campaigns, the creator economy in India is expanding at a CAGR of 18% Y-o-Y. Recognizing the growing need for ethical content creation, Hoopr will provide over 400,000 influencers from Budding Influencers’ network with legally compliant music solutions. This collaboration will also include educational initiatives to help influencers navigate copyright laws and leverage music strategically in branded content.

By addressing the root causes of copyright-related challenges, Hoopr and Budding Influencers are setting new industry standards, empowering digital creators to innovate freely while staying legally protected.
