Chennai: The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) has signed a series of strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with The Zenfluencers, YOLOgram Style Pvt. Ltd., and Eruditio Consultants, reinforcing its commitment to advancing India’s AVGC-XR ecosystem while expanding capabilities across esports, immersive technologies, and nationwide talent development.
The MoUs were formalised at the India Gaming Show 2026, held at the Chennai Trade Centre, marking a significant step in IICT’s efforts to bridge academia and industry within the fast-evolving creative technologies landscape.
These partnerships align IICT’s focus on education, skilling, research, and ecosystem development with the domain expertise of its partners across esports, immersive technologies, and large-scale outreach initiatives.
As part of the collaboration with The Zenfluencers, IICT will integrate structured esports education into its academic framework. The initiative includes globally benchmarked certification programmes, industry-led workshops, tournaments, and masterclasses. It also aims to create pathways for students to explore career opportunities across the esports value chain, supported by global exposure and deeper industry engagement.
Through its partnership with YOLOgram Style Pvt. Ltd., IICT will enhance its capabilities in gaming, immersive storytelling, and extended reality (XR). The collaboration will focus on curriculum development aligned with industry tools and workflows, faculty mentorship, student showcases, and joint research in areas such as immersive AI and virtual production. Additionally, the partnership will support incubation initiatives and help build an industry-ready talent pipeline.
IICT’s association with Eruditio Consultants will address key challenges related to awareness, accessibility, and career alignment in the AVGC-XR sector. The collaboration will drive nationwide outreach programmes, counsellor training and certification, institutional engagement, and the creation of structured career guidance frameworks. The initiative aims to expand access to opportunities beyond Tier 1 cities and foster a more inclusive talent ecosystem.
These strategic alliances are part of IICT’s broader vision to develop integrated and scalable models that connect academia, industry, and ecosystem stakeholders, while driving innovation, employability, and global competitiveness in the creative technologies sector.
Dr. Vishwas Deoskar, Chief Executive Officer, IICT, said, “As the AVGC-XR sector continues to evolve at a rapid pace, it is essential to build strong, future-focused collaborations that bridge the gap between industry and academia.
