INOX opens its 5th multiplex in Gurugram at Worldmark Mall

India’s leading multiplex chain, INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX), today announced the launch of its 5th multiplex in the city of Gurugram at Worldmark Mall located at Maidawas Road, which is one of the prime hub for IT and corporate parks. The new multiplex has 5 impressively designed auditoria with a total of 904 seats, including 33 luxurious recliner seats. 

These recliner seats will offer a lavish and comfortable cinema viewing experience to the patrons of Gurugram. Each of the 5 screens in the multiplex are soaked in comfort and equipped with the best-in-class cinema technologies for sound and projection. With this inauguration, INOX now operates 09 multiplexes with 32 screens in the state of Haryana.  

The auditoria are equipped with advanced digital Laser projection system for razor-sharp visuals. In addition, the theaters also offer a great sound experience from the Dolby system for guests to enjoy a thunderous feel. The immersive ambience of auditoriums compliments the vibrant 3D view, which is powered by Volfoni Smart Crystal Diamond solution. This multiplex has a seamless blend of black, burgundy and gold accents in its interiors along with other elements that give it a neoclassical look. Guests will be greeted with a chic and sophisticated experience leaving them in awe. 

Furthermore, the multiplex will possess a string of customer-friendly digital features like paper-less check-ins, touch-screen and QR code-enabled ticketing and interactive food-ordering. The elegant live kitchen and INOX’s very own Café Unwind, is designed to serve its specially curated mouth-watering preparations, even to guests who are not watching a movie. Café Unwind is known for its specialties like brewed coffee, cold coffee and shakes, chef’s special sandwiches and burgers, gourmet fries and Nachos, and sumptuous Pizzas, all prepared by expert Chefs and Baristas. Guests would also get to experience INOX’s vibrant hospitality and gourmet offerings. INOX patrons will also be able to enjoy these gourmet food options within the comfort of their homes by ordering them through food ordering platforms like Swiggy and Zomato.

Besides making sure that the cinemas will be operated by a 100% vaccinated team, INOX is adhering to each and every instruction as prescribed in the notifications issued by the State Government. We have curated a hygiene initiative called #SafetyFirst, which combines the 

measures prescribed by the Government authorities and additional measures implemented by us. Besides following the prescribed seating restrictions, the cinemas will be frequently deep cleaned, and disinfection of all customer touch points, including entrance, Box-Office, lobbies, auditorium, F&B counters, restrooms and exit gates will be carried out. In an endeavor to provide enhanced hygiene, the protocols like a mandatory mask, temperature check, e-tickets, contactless payment & entry and enhanced intake of fresh air have also been implemented. INOX aims to make the entire cinema-viewing experience digitally enabled and touch-free. We have encouraged the use of e-tickets, and even the guests walking in at the counters before the movie will be issued e-tickets.

With this launch, INOX will expand its presence to 158 multiplexes spanning 667 screens across 70 cities in the country.
