Mumbai: JetSynthesys’ Global Music Junction (GMJ), in association with Hari Prem Films (HPF) and powered by Warner Music India, has announced an exclusive partnership with acclaimed folk singer Mame Khan, marking a milestone in the journey of Indian folk music towards a global audience.
Known for his Rajasthani roots, vibrant stage presence, and cross-cultural appeal—bolstered by performances on platforms like Coke Studio Bharat—Mame Khan will collaborate with GMJ and HPF for the next three years, covering everything from digital content to international performances and branded partnerships.
“Folk music has always been about storytelling and connection. With JetSynthesys’ GMJ & HPF, I’ve found a partner who shares that passion and understands how to amplify it in today’s digital-first era,” said Mame Khan. “This partnership is not just about growth but about preserving and celebrating the essence of folk music in new and creative ways.”
Under the deal, GMJ’s execution partner Hari Prem Films will exclusively manage Mame Khan’s YouTube presence, digital rights, music releases, collaborations, and branded content. While Mame Khan will continue to engage with select external collaborators, HPF will serve as the primary representative for all artist management, brand engagement, and live content production.
The partnership also includes live performance management for Mame Khan’s celebrated musical collectives—The RockNRoots Project, a nine-member ensemble, and The Folk Orchestra of Rajasthan, a grand ensemble of over 40 musicians. GMJ’s HPF will handle bookings and international show sales for both acts, especially focusing on expanding The Folk Orchestra’s footprint globally.
“At Global Music Junction, our vision is to connect India’s rich musical legacy with today’s global audience,” said Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys. “Mame Khan is the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, staying true to his roots while connecting effortlessly with contemporary audiences. We’re excited to collaborate with him and take his music to bigger stages and wider audiences around the world.”
This exclusive partnership is the latest in GMJ’s continued investment in India’s folk and regional music space. Alongside legends like Sonu Nigam and Shaan, GMJ also represents regional stars like Sapna Choudhary, reinforcing its commitment to supporting vernacular music and artist-first storytelling.
With strategic backing from Warner Music India, the GMJ platform offers artists not just scale but an ecosystem that enables creative freedom and sustainable growth. The Mame Khan collaboration marks a new chapter in exporting India’s folk heritage to global ears, powered by digital, live, and cross-platform content.
