Mumbai: Jindal Stainless has appointed Kunjal Mehta as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 25, 2026, following approval by the company’s Board in Delhi.
The appointment comes as Jindal Stainless sharpens its focus on long-term growth, expansion and value creation, while strengthening financial governance and capital discipline across the organisation.
A finance professional with more than 25 years of experience across sectors including steel, power, ports and logistics, and technology, Mehta will lead the company’s financial strategy and support its next phase of business growth.
As CFO, he will oversee key financial functions including treasury, capital management, financial planning, investor relations, risk management and strategic growth initiatives.

Before joining Jindal Stainless, Mehta served as Chief Financial Officer at Adani Energy Solutions Limited. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles at Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Limited, and Essar Steel India Limited.
A qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Mehta brings extensive experience in corporate finance, resource mobilisation, treasury and working capital management, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, governance, assurance and risk management. He has also led multiple financial initiatives across domestic and international markets and driven finance transformation programmes across large organisations.
