Mumbai: JioHotstar and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) have announced an expanded partnership to bring HBO Max to India, making JioHotstar the exclusive home for the platform in the country. The launch marks a significant milestone in India’s streaming landscape, offering audiences a unified destination for premium global entertainment.
The newly introduced HBO Max hub on JioHotstar aggregates a wide portfolio of content from globally renowned brands including HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, and DC Studios. This integration enables Indian viewers to access a comprehensive slate of premium international storytelling within a single platform.

The HBO Max hub brings a rich catalogue of globally acclaimed series and films, including new and upcoming titles such as Euphoria Season 3, House of the Dragon Season 3, and the much-anticipated Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Subscribers can also stream popular titles like The Last of Us, The White Lotus, Succession, Game of Thrones, and Sex and the City.
Additionally, the partnership brings iconic Warner Bros. Television shows such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory to JioHotstar subscribers for the first time, along with other fan favourites like The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and The Flash.
The film library further enhances the offering, featuring blockbuster franchises such as Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, along with titles from the DC Universe.
The HBO Max hub will be available as an add-on subscription starting at ₹49 per month, providing access to both HBO Max content and JioHotstar’s broader international catalogue. This expansion strengthens JioHotstar’s positioning as a leading destination for global and local content, delivering enhanced choice and accessibility to Indian audiences.
