Mumbai: Lionsgate Play, the premium streaming platform known for its curated line-up of international entertainment, has announced a strategic partnership with PlayboxTV, one of India’s rapidly growing entertainment aggregation platforms.
Through the collaboration, PlayboxTV subscribers across all plans will gain access to Lionsgate Play’s premium library of global content spanning blockbuster films, critically acclaimed series, exclusive premieres and international titles across genres and languages, delivered through a unified viewing experience.
The partnership marks a strategic expansion for both platforms as they look to strengthen their presence in India’s evolving digital entertainment landscape. With Lionsgate Play now integrated into PlayboxTV’s content ecosystem, viewers will gain access to a broad catalogue of globally recognised titles localised for Indian audiences. The offering includes action franchises such as The Expendables, Greenland, John Wick, Den of Thieves and Rambo; drama and thriller titles including The Taj Story, Kabul, Paris Has Fallen, Shelter, The Bayou, Primitive War and Vigil; as well as acclaimed series like Normal People and Heated Rivalry. The slate also includes regional titles such as Soothravakyam, Kaalidas 2 and Detective Ujjwallan.
