Mumbai: Marshall Group, the audio equipment company renowned for its heritage in music and amplification, has appointed Manisha Singh as its India Marketing Lead.
Before joining Marshall Group, Singh served as Deputy General Manager – Marketing (SAARC) at Sony Music Entertainment, where she led marketing and business strategy across key South Asian markets. In the role, she oversaw new talent acquisition, product management, digital marketing, strategic partnerships, and regional growth initiatives.
Singh spent nearly nine years at Sony Music Entertainment, steadily rising through the ranks and taking on increasing responsibilities across international markets, product marketing, and regional business leadership. During her tenure, she worked on global marketing campaigns spanning North America, the UK, Australia, the UAE, and Southeast Asia, and played a key role in launching a new sub-label under Sony Music India.
Announcing her move on LinkedIn, Singh described the transition as a personal milestone, reflecting on her long-standing connection with music. She said she was excited to join a brand deeply rooted in music culture and looked forward to contributing to its growth in India.
Prior to Sony Music, Singh interned in marketing at HT Media Ltd in 2015. She holds an MBA in Marketing from SVKM’s NMIMS and earned her engineering degree from MCT’s Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology.
