Mumbai: Ferrero has elevated Mohiit Bagla as its Head of E-commerce, marking a strategic leadership move as the company continues to strengthen its presence across India’s rapidly evolving digital commerce landscape.
Bagla announced the development in a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his transition from leading traditional retail operations to spearheading the company’s e-commerce business.
“I am delighted to share that I have taken up the role of Head of E-Commerce at Ferrero,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the shift, Bagla noted that after spending nearly a decade focused on brick-and-mortar retail—serving millions of retailers and consumers across the country—he is now navigating a marketplace driven by digital storefronts, rapid deliveries, and increasingly informed consumers. He shared that the past two months have involved learning new ways of working, understanding the dynamics of digital commerce, and adapting to a competitive landscape that continues to evolve at pace.
Despite the change in channels, Bagla observed that some business fundamentals remain unchanged: product availability, visibility, and the people behind every transaction continue to be the key drivers of success.
Before taking on his new role, Bagla served as General Manager – Regional Head (East) at Ferrero, a position he assumed in January 2026. Over the years, he has steadily grown within the organisation, taking on leadership roles including Head of Sales Capability, where he focused on building commercial excellence and strengthening sales capabilities across the business.
Prior to joining Ferrero, Bagla was Regional Manager – West at Reliance Consumer Products Limited. His career also includes leadership roles at Marico, GSK Consumer Healthcare India, and Pidilite Industries, giving him over a decade of experience across sales, capability building, business strategy, and FMCG operations spanning multiple categories and geographies.
Bagla holds an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS Mumbai and is a Chartered Accountant. He completed his undergraduate education at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for building high-performing teams, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
