Mumbai: Meha Parekh has been named Head of Marketing & Communications at Samsonite India, expanding her mandate across the Samsonite, American Tourister, and Kamiliant brands.
In her new role, Parekh will oversee marketing and communications for Samsonite, American Tourister, and Kamiliant, expanding her previous mandate where she served as Brand Head for Samsonite and Kamiliant. She has been associated with the company since 2018.
Parekh brings over a decade of experience across marketing, brand strategy, and communications. Prior to joining Samsonite, she has worked with leading organisations including Kraft Heinz, Unilever, Eureka Forbes, and Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd (MAX Retail Division), where she began her career as a Brand Executive in 2011.
With extensive expertise spanning media relations, product marketing, business strategy, digital marketing, and new business development, Parekh is expected to play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth for the company’s portfolio.
Her appointment comes at a time when India’s luggage category is undergoing a significant shift—from being largely functional to becoming more design-led and brand-driven. In her expanded role, Parekh will focus on strengthening this transition across Samsonite India’s brands, aligning marketing strategies with evolving consumer preferences and driving deeper brand engagement in a competitive marketplace.
