DheerajRaina, the former general manager and head of strategy at Mindshare Malaysia will be taking over as the Managing Director of AdParlor Malaysia with effective from 1st week of July 2017.
Dheeraj will be reporting to Damien Lavin, the Chief Revenue Officer of AdParlor Asia who is based in Singapore.
AdParlor which brands itself as a one-stop-shop for valuable video and social platforms, specialises in helping demanding advertisers in achieving targeted ROI from their social and video media spending – across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
Speaking on his new role, Raina said his primary responsibility would be building the digital marketing consultancy on the back of proprietary technology in Malaysia.
Raina was part of the Mindshare Malaysia’s senior management team responsible for driving the thought leadership and delivery of Mindshare’s strategy product especially in digital across all the agency accounts.
He also leads business pitches and has successfully won over new business pitch wins on some of major accounts in the country such as Pizza hut, Digi, Malaysia Airlines and S P Setia for Mindshare Malaysia. Raina has also invented proprietary dynamic marketing frameworks for Mindshare Malaysia’s telecom and aviation category and is an executive committee leader on data and technology for GroupM Malaysia.
He started his career with L.G Electronics, India specialising in product marketing, while his career with Mindshare kicked off May 2012 in which he was named as the senior director of strategy for its Mumbai office. He brings in more than a decade of expertise in a variety of roles and related industries.
