Mumbai: This year, Mirchi Bangla made history by going LIVE for 1,000 hours of uninterrupted entertainment—a first-of-its-kind celebration capturing the spirit, energy, and cultural essence of Durga Pujo and Kali Pujo like never before.
This milestone also marks a double celebration for Mirchi. Its iconic property Sunday Suspense has surpassed 3 million subscribers on YouTube, clocking 1.2 billion lifetime views and 372.6 million hours of watch time, cementing its position as Bengal’s most-loved audio storytelling series.
Taking Pujo beyond Kolkata, Mirchi spread the festive cheer across Siliguri, Asansol, and Durgapur. From city pandals and neighbourhood RWAs to surprise LIVE sessions on the streets, Mirchi RJs brought the pulse of the festivities directly to audiences through engaging games, contests, giveaways, and more.
Adding star power to the celebrations, Superstar Jisshu Sengupta unveiled Mirchi’s special Pujo song, sung by Ujjaini Mukherjee, Sourav Chatterjee, and Shreyoshi Chakraborty, continuing the brand’s tradition of creating culturally rich and high-energy experiences for Bengal.
Mirchi also celebrated Kali Pujo with unprecedented grandeur, introducing the Shyamasree Award, a first-ever recognition honouring the devotion, creativity, and artistry of Bengal’s finest Kali Pujo organisers. Mirchi RJs visited pandals across the city, capturing the power of Maa Kali’s worship and the vibrancy of Shyamaratree.
The celebrations extended beyond studios as the Mirchi Branded Car (Bahan) and Mirchi Singhabahini travelled across Bengal, led by popular RJs Ayantika, Neel, Manali, Mohor, Sayan, and Indroneel, amplifying the Pujo excitement on the ground.
With 1,000 hours of LIVE entertainment, Mirchi has once again redefined festive storytelling—turning Bengal’s favourite celebrations into an unforgettable, all-encompassing experience.
