Mumbai: Mythri Media Works has announced a landmark global collaboration that brings National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty into the Spider-Man universe ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The collaboration marks another milestone in Shetty’s growing international journey, connecting one of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed storytellers with one of the world’s most iconic entertainment franchises.
The partnership celebrates Shetty’s long-standing admiration for Spider-Man while highlighting his expanding global appeal following the success of Kantara, which introduced his storytelling to audiences worldwide.
According to Mythri Media Works, the campaign creates a crossover between Indian cinema and the globally popular superhero franchise, underscoring the increasing recognition of Indian talent on the international stage.
Speaking about the collaboration, Rishab Shetty said, “I still remember watching Spider-Man for the first time in a single-screen theatre many years ago and instantly connecting with Peter Parker. He has always reminded me that it’s okay to stumble, make mistakes, and even experience heartbreak, as long as we never lose the goodness within us. Spider-Man also teaches us that with great power comes great responsibility, and that lesson stays relevant no matter how old you are. Over the years, my love for Spider-Man has only grown stronger, and today, he’s just as special to my children.”

Commenting on the collaboration, K.R. Siddharth, Founder, Mythri Media Works, said, “At Mythri Media Works, our vision has always been to create partnerships that are authentic to the artists we represent. This collaboration is particularly special because it brings together Rishab Shetty’s powerful storytelling legacy with one of the world’s most iconic entertainment franchises that feels genuine. Bringing a collaboration of this scale to life has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and it’s a proud moment for us to see Indian talent continue to earn recognition on the global stage. We believe this is just the beginning of many more meaningful international collaborations.”
The collaboration comes ahead of the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, which is scheduled to hit cinemas in India on July 30. The film will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it accessible to audiences across multiple regions.
The partnership reflects the growing convergence of Indian cinema with global entertainment brands, as international studios increasingly collaborate with Indian talent to engage audiences in one of the world’s fastest-growing entertainment markets.
