New Delhi: This festive season News18 India is all set to explore the timeless story of Ramayana through its special series Shriram Path. Traversing through the same route which is believed to be taken by Shri Ram during his exile, the show will bring to viewers tales and legends associated with the epic. The show will not only unravel little known stories from India but also from the island nation Sri Lanka.
With an aim to correlate the mythology of Ramayana with the modern world, Shriram Path will begin the trail from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram and will take the viewers on an unforgettable journey by revealing several untold tales for the first time on television. Travelling through Chitrakoot – Tulsidas’ birth Place, Rakshahada in Chhattisgarh along with Ramkund, Trimbakeshwar in Nasik, News18 India’s team will capture and attempt to decode the mysteries that have been around for centuries. Crossing the famous Ramsetu in Rameshwaram and exploring Ashok Vatika in Sri Lanka, the channel will also connect with locals during this historic journey highlighting the historical significance of various cultures and places along with the religious relevance.
Shot in a documentary style, the series spanning 4 episodes, promises a captivating mix of past and present while showcasing a gripping narrative of the age-old saga of Ramayana.
