New Delhi: Niva Bupa Health Insurance has been named the Official Health Insurance Principal Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and has launched a new brand campaign, ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’, to highlight the importance of resilience and recovery in health journeys.
As part of the campaign, the insurer has partnered with Olympic medallists Saina Nehwal and Mirabai Chanu to spotlight stories of determination and recovery, drawing parallels between athletes overcoming setbacks and individuals recovering from illnesses, accidents and major medical procedures.
The company said the campaign aligns with its broader commitment to promoting holistic healthcare and supporting customers through every stage of recovery. According to Niva Bupa, it has settled more than 37 lakh claims amounting to nearly ₹14,000 crore over the last five financial years.

Commenting on the partnership, Nimish Agrawal, Director – Digital Business Unit & Chief Marketing Officer, Niva Bupa Health Insurance, said, “Our association as the Official Health Insurance Principal Partner of Glasgow 2026 reflects what Niva Bupa stands for—the confidence to come back stronger after a health setback: Zindagi Ko Claim Kar Le. Every athlete competing in Glasgow has overcome adversity—an injury, a defeat or moments of self-doubt. The medal is only the final chapter; the real story lies in the setback, the recovery and the determination to come back stronger. That’s the spirit we celebrate. Every day, we witness the same resilience in the lives of our customers as they overcome major surgeries, accidents and critical illnesses to return to the people and moments that matter most. Through our campaign, ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’, we celebrate these inspiring journeys and reaffirm our belief that quality healthcare and the right support system empower people to recover with confidence and reclaim their lives.”
Sharing her thoughts on the campaign, Saina Nehwal, Olympic medallist and former World No. 1 badminton player, said, “People often remember the medals and the victories, but every athlete knows that the toughest battles are fought away from the spotlight. Injuries test not only your body but also your confidence and patience. Recovery demands discipline, belief and the right support around you. That’s why this campaign resonates deeply with me—it reminds people that every comeback begins long before you step back onto the court. Recovery is where champions are truly made.”
Niva Bupa said the campaign seeks to encourage conversations around health preparedness and recovery by drawing on the experiences of elite athletes, while reinforcing that effective healthcare extends beyond financial protection to enabling confidence and continuity during recovery.
The insurer said the ‘Setback se Comeback Tak’ campaign will be promoted across digital and social media platforms in the lead-up to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, with the aim of reaching audiences across India.
