Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has partnered with Google India to integrate Google Gemini into the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), marking what the companies describe as a first-of-its-kind collaboration that brings generative AI into one of India’s most iconic knowledge-based television franchises.
As part of the collaboration, Google Gemini will be embedded into the KBC experience across Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV, serving as an interactive knowledge companion for viewers throughout the season. The integration aims to support audiences from the registration process to general knowledge preparation, while creating new engagement opportunities through AI-powered interactions.
The collaboration builds on KBC’s long-standing positioning as a platform that promotes learning and knowledge. Google Gemini will help viewers navigate registration procedures and provide assistance in preparing across a wide range of topics. The companies also plan to introduce interactive challenges on the Google Gemini app, enabling users to test and enhance their general knowledge through AI-powered experiences.
KBC registrations are now open, with users able to access registration guidance and eligibility information through the Google Gemini app.
