Mumbai: Play ‘N’ Learn, one of India’s leading edutainment destinations for children, has launched a nationwide campaign to appoint its youngest-ever Chief Excitement Officer (CEO), inviting children between the ages of two and seven to take on a role designed to influence and shape future play experiences. The initiative reflects the brand’s belief that children themselves are best placed to evaluate and inspire the development of engaging play environments.
Through the campaign, Play ‘N’ Learn aims to bring authentic consumer insights directly from its core audience while celebrating the role of play in childhood development.Unlike traditional corporate roles, the Chief Excitement Officer position has been designed around qualities such as curiosity, imagination, enthusiasm, and a natural ability to make playtime more enjoyable. The selected child will work closely with the brand by exploring play zones, testing new experiences, and providing instinctive feedback on activities, helping the company refine and enhance its offerings.

“At Play ‘N’ Learn, we build spaces for children and have always believed that the best people to evaluate them are children themselves.” said Abbas Jabalpurwala, CEO, TEEG India. “Through this initiative, we want to recognize play as a critical part of child’s development and celebrate the curiosity, imagination and natural leadership they bring into every experience. We’re not looking for the most articulate candidate or the most impressive resume. Instead, we’re looking for someone who lights up the moment they walk into a room and we’ll take their cues from there.”
The campaign underscores a growing industry focus on involving consumers more directly in product and experience development. By appointing a child to the role, Play ‘N’ Learn seeks to capture unfiltered feedback and perspectives that can help create more engaging and meaningful experiences for young visitors. The selected Chief Excitement Officer will receive a range of benefits, including a family vacation to Singapore worth up to ₹3 lakh, featuring a visit to Universal Studios.
The winner will also receive a one-year play pass across Play ‘N’ Learn centres, subject to terms and conditions, providing ongoing opportunities to participate in product and experience evaluations. The campaign has also attracted attention from brands including Timezone and Emomee, which have engaged organically with the initiative through social media, highlighting its broader appeal within the family and children’s entertainment ecosystem.

Pooja Jauhari, CEO ‘N’ Founder, Emomee, shared her perspective on the campaign and added, “At Emomee, we’ve always believed that the skills children will need to lead the future are very different from what traditional systems often reward today. Curiosity, confidence, imagination, emotional intelligence and the ability to bring joy into a room are all real leadership traits. Which is why we loved Play ‘N’ Learn’s idea of appointing a Chief Excitement Officer.”
Applications for the role are open until June 29, 2026. Parents and guardians can nominate their children by posting a short video on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #YoungestCEO and tagging the brand’s official social media handles. The company will announce its Youngest Chief Excitement Officer on July 1, 2026.
The month-long campaign highlights Play ‘N’ Learn’s effort to place children at the centre of decision-making, reinforcing the importance of play, creativity, and imagination in shaping experiences designed specifically for young audiences
