Pluckk purchases D2C nutrition brand Upnourish

Mumbai: Pluckk, a pioneering digital lifestyle-focused fresh food brand, has announced its acquisition of Upnourish, one of India’s rapidly growing nutrition brands, for $1.4 million. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for both companies, enabling the development of a new nutrition-focused vertical.

Founded in 2021 by Aayushi and Kuonal Lakhapati, Upnourish, under 23BMI Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, is transforming the nutrition landscape with its award-winning meal replacement products, including smoothies, soups, and bars, along with personalized nutrition plans. Their innovative offerings address various health issues such as weight management, PCOD, diabetes, and high cholesterol. 

Upnourish products are widely available across India on major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Freshpik, and Godrej Nature’s Basket. Notably, Upnourish is the only Indian meal replacement brand with a diverse range of smoothie flavors, including Double Chocolate, French Vanilla, and Mango.

On the other hand, Pluckk redefines the farm-to-table experience by providing over 300 products, such as fruits, vegetables, meal kits, juices, dips, and salads, directly to consumers without intermediaries. The brand ensures the freshest, highest-quality produce through innovative practices like ozone-washing and traceability.

Pluckk caters to major urban areas such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, providing fresh produce through leading online and offline retailers like Amazon, Nature’s Basket, Swiggy, Zepto, and Blinkit. By establishing direct links between farmers and consumers, Pluckk delivers over 2 million products monthly to 500,000 households.
