Mumbai: Sanchayeeta Verma has exited her role as Chief Executive Officer of Carat India, marking the end of her leadership stint at the dentsu-owned media agency. Media reports have confirmed her departure, though no official announcement has been made by the company so far.
Appointed in 2023, Verma was tasked with steering Carat India’s strategic direction and accelerating its growth. Based out of Bengaluru, she was instrumental in driving business development, enhancing client relationships, and mentoring the agency’s internal talent pool.
With a professional career spanning 27 years, Verma is a veteran in the fields of advertising, media, and marketing. Her expertise spans across media planning, content, data, and technology, and she has built a reputation for her ability to manage integrated campaigns and lead large-scale operations.
Prior to joining dentsu, Verma held senior management roles at GroupM’s Mindshare and Wavemaker. Her earlier career includes key roles at companies like Lintas Media Group, JWT, and Kiwi TTK.
Verma’s portfolio includes work across a wide range of industries, from FMCG and telecom to retail, e-commerce, finance, and lifestyle. She has led strategy and execution for major brands including Google, ITC, Titan, Myntra, Nestlé, Tata Global Beverages, Wipro Consumer Care, Kellogg’s, Ford, ICICI, PepsiCo, Nike, and Castrol, among others.
Sanchayeeta Verma is an active members of the Advertising Club, Bangalore and she served as the President of the club during the year 2016-17 and contributed immensely towards various activities organised by the industry body.
