Mumbai: Scara has strengthened its leadership team with a series of senior appointments as it sharpens its focus on global expansion, publisher partnerships, and proprietary IP development—marking its next phase of growth.
As part of this move, the company has appointed Nathaneal Slabbert as Head of Global Operations, Arun Sadasivan as Head of IP Business, and Karan Khurana as Head of Publisher Business.
The appointments reflect Scara’s broader evolution into a more integrated business spanning ecosystem partnerships, cross-market execution, and owned intellectual properties. With gaming increasingly converging with culture, creators, and live experiences, the company is reinforcing leadership capabilities to scale with greater depth and intent.
Slabbert, who was previously associated with NODWIN Gaming, will lead Scara’s international growth agenda, focusing on expanding cross-market presence and strengthening global operating capabilities. With over 16 years of experience in esports, he has played a key role in building and scaling competitive gaming ecosystems, including global tournaments and large-scale gaming events.
Sadasivan joins from FanPlay and will spearhead the development and scaling of Scara’s proprietary IP portfolio. With more than 15 years of experience across sports, media, and entertainment, he has held leadership roles in business growth, strategic partnerships, and monetisable property creation. He has also previously led the Sports and Entertainment vertical for GroupM in South India.
Khurana, also formerly with NODWIN Gaming, will head publisher partnerships and drive Scara’s publisher growth strategy. With over a decade of experience in strategic partnerships and business development, he brings expertise in building commercial alliances and scaling business verticals within the gaming ecosystem.

Commenting on the appointments, Manoj G, Founder, Scara, said, “Scara Gaming is building for a much larger opportunity at the intersection of gaming, culture, and immersive experiences. As the market evolves, so must the kind of business we are building. Nathaneal, Arun, and Karan each bring deep expertise in areas that will define our next phase of growth, from global operations and original IP to publisher partnerships. Their appointments reflect our ambition to build a sharper, more scalable, and more globally relevant company for the future.”
With these additions, Scara is strengthening its core business engines across global operations, IP creation, and publisher alliances—areas that are increasingly critical to long-term value creation in the evolving gaming ecosystem.
