Mumbai: Network18 has appointed Shahid Rizvi as Region Head, effective August 7, 2025. Rizvi’s move comes after an illustrious 14-year career with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., where he held several key leadership positions in sales and regional growth.
Rizvi began his career with Zee Sales in January 2012, playing a pivotal role in managing flagship regional channels such as Zee Marathi and Zee Keralam. Over more than eight years, he was instrumental in strengthening Zee’s market share and driving sustained revenue growth in competitive regional markets.
In 2018, he transitioned to the Zee News Network as Senior Territory Head – Sales, where he expanded his leadership in the news broadcasting space and contributed significantly to the brand’s growth and advertiser engagement.
He formally stepped down from Zee on June 12, 2025, concluding a journey marked by strategic contributions, professional milestones, and strong industry relationships.
With his new role at Network18, Rizvi is expected to leverage his extensive experience and regional expertise to further accelerate the company’s growth trajectory and market leadership.
