Mumbai: Shams Jasani, former CEO of Wunderman Thompson South Asia (JWT) and a prominent name in the advertising and marketing industry, is embarking on an exciting new journey. In a recent LinkedIn post, Jasani hinted at his latest venture—a stealth startup that promises to redefine the marketing and advertising landscape.

While details about the project remain under wraps, Jasani’s post radiates the energy and ambition behind the endeavor. “We’re addressing a problem plaguing the marketing and advertising community,” he shared, adding that the initiative is backed by a team of “some of the sharpest minds” he’s ever worked with.

With innovation as its cornerstone, Jasani’s startup is guided by a “dream big, execute bigger” mindset, creating a buzz among peers in the industry. While specifics about the venture’s mission remain confidential, Jasani likened the process to crafting a gourmet dish: “You don’t lift the lid before it’s ready. But trust me, when it’s ready, I can’t wait to serve it to the world.”

This enigmatic announcement has sparked curiosity, with many in the industry eager to learn more about Jasani’s plans. Known for his leadership in transforming Wunderman Thompson South Asia, Jasani’s foray into entrepreneurship has industry insiders and observers anticipating what could be a game-changing innovation in the advertising space.

Jasani is stepping down from his role as CEO at Wunderman Thompson South Asia, a position he held following an illustrious career in the industry. Prior to this, he served as group managing director – South Asia at Isobar and head of Dentsu Creative. Jasani founded Isobar in 2008 and held various transformative roles at Dentsu, cementing his reputation as a pioneer in the digital and creative advertising space.
