SharkNinja enters India with Shark and Ninja brands, targets premium home appliance market

Bengaluru: SharkNinja APAC has officially launched its globally recognised brands Shark and Ninja in India, marking its entry into one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer appliance markets.

The launch introduces a portfolio of category-leading small kitchen and floorcare appliances to Indian consumers for the first time. Known for their innovation-led approach, both brands have built a strong global reputation for delivering high-performance, user-friendly products designed to address everyday consumer needs.

The India debut represents a key milestone in SharkNinja’s regional expansion strategy, as it looks to strengthen its footprint across Asia-Pacific.

Globally, Shark and Ninja hold leadership positions in their respective categories, including being recognised among the top-selling small kitchen appliance and floorcare brands in the United States. The company’s innovation-driven growth is supported by a portfolio of over 5,500 patents and a presence across 38 household product sub-categories.

As part of its India entry, the company has introduced five key products tailored to evolving consumer lifestyles. These include the Ninja Blast™ Portable Blender for on-the-go convenience, Ninja Air Fryers with space-saving and dual-cooking capabilities, and the Ninja Combi™ 14-in-1 Multicooker designed for versatile meal preparation.

In the home comfort and cleaning segments, the launch also features the Shark FlexBreeze™ Fan, built for Indian weather conditions with cordless portability and extended battery life, and the Shark HydroVac™, an all-in-one solution that integrates vacuuming, mopping, and self-cleaning functionalities.

The move comes amid rising demand for premium, technology-enabled home appliances in India, driven by urbanisation, changing consumer lifestyles, and increased focus on convenience and efficiency. With this launch, SharkNinja aims to establish a strong foothold in the Indian market by combining global innovation with local consumer insights
