Mumbai: Shemaroo Entertainment Limited, in a bid to further strengthen its leadership team has roped in two new pillars of strength. The company has appointed Vivek Koka as Assistant Vice President for the New Business Development division and Rajesh Kathuria as Assistant Vice President for the IT division. Vivek will be reporting into the company CEO, Hiren Gada and Rajesh into Director, Jai Maroo.
Vivek Koka, was previously a part of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited as the Marketing Head of &Pictures and ZEE Classic. An alumnus of IMDR, Vivek comes with an overall work experience of over 15 years and has had successful stints at Tata Sky, Tata Indicom and HDFC Bank. With a strong marketing background, Vivek will be responsible for creating new and alternate revenue streams for Shemaroo and also maximize the existing Bollywood business.
With an overall experience of around 29 years, Rajesh Kathuria will be the new Assistant Vice President in the IT division at Shemaroo. He was previously associated with Rediff.com as the Associate Director for System and Network Services. Rajesh has a technology expertise in IT Assets and has been a key Digital transformation catalyst in media and advertisement agency environments.
