Mumbai: Škoda Auto India has unveiled its latest brand campaign, ‘G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track’, reinforcing the company’s performance-driven DNA and motorsport legacy. The campaign redefines the popular acronym ‘G.O.A.T’ from ‘Greatest of All Time’ to ‘Greatest On A Track’, positioning Škoda vehicles as benchmarks for driving dynamics, precision, and safety.
The campaign begins with a new achievement, as Škoda Auto India secured an India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records title for the ‘Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit’. The record was achieved at the Coimbatore Automotive Sports and Technical Training (CoASTT) track, where a fleet of five Škoda vehicles completed the relay challenge in a combined time of 12:30.97, including pit-lane changeovers.
The fleet comprised the Škoda Kylaq 1.0 AT, Škoda Kushaq 1.5 DSG, Škoda Slavia 1.5 DSG, Škoda Octavia RS, and Škoda Kodiaq Selection L&K. Each vehicle was driven consecutively by different drivers in a timed relay format.
Among the timings, the Kylaq recorded 2:31.6, the Kushaq clocked 2:29.7, the Slavia completed the lap in 2:27.63, while the Kodiaq posted 2:26.34. The Octavia RS emerged as the fastest car in the relay with a lap time of 2:10.85 on the 3.8 km circuit.
The campaign further highlights Škoda Auto’s longstanding motorsport heritage, which dates back to 1901 and gained further prominence with the introduction of the iconic RS (Rally Sport) badge in 1975 through the Škoda 130 RS.

Speaking about the campaign, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, “Every Škoda is engineered to deliver precision, control, and dynamism at the very edge of performance. For us, motorsport DNA isn’t a halo; it is inherent, and it comes standard across our entire range. This belief anchors our newest campaign, where we redefine ‘Greatest On A Track’ to mean, quite simply, a Škoda on a track. This campaign is a natural extension of our strategy of democratizing performance, ensuring that every Škoda, across segments, offers uncompromising dynamic capability, safety, and confidence that translates seamlessly into the real world. At its core, G.O.A.T celebrates the intangibles that truly define the Škoda driving experience: steering precision, chassis balance, braking assurance, and the deep connection between driver and machine. These are qualities that will never be captured on a spec sheet but are unmistakable the moment you get behind the wheel.”
The company said the campaign aligns with its broader strategy of differentiation and highlights the performance capabilities embedded across its portfolio, from compact SUVs and sedans to luxury SUVs and performance-oriented vehicles.
With turbocharged engines, automatic transmissions, and handling-focused engineering forming a key part of its product philosophy, Škoda Auto India aims to position its lineup as both dynamically capable and safety-focused for Indian consumers.
