Specsmakers, India’s third-largest optical retail network with over 240 stores spanning TN, KA & AP has taken up some interesting TV advertising to commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day celebrations.
Specsmakers will roll in as the Co-Presenting Sponsor for a talk show on Star Vijay at 09.30 hrs on Sunday, 15 Aug. feat. Lady Superstar Nayanthara who’s lead role as a visually challenged person in her latest film “Netrikann” that released on 13 Aug. ’21 on a popular OTT platform and is already receiving rave reviews for her superb performance. The actress is appearing on a Tv show after almost a decade and the show seems to have a huge audience build-up, especially being a Sunday.
Specsmakers will also be the Associate Sponsor for the Direct Television Release of “Paramadam Vilayattu” feat. Trisha Krishnan. The much-anticipated film of the top actress is among the first few high-profile films to skip a routine theatrical release and reach the audience directly through television screens. It is expected to have a huge opening as actress Trisha’s film is coming after a long time.
Speaking on the current line-up, S. Shriram, VP – Sales & Marketing elaborated, “We have taken two special programs as Associate and Co-Presenting sponsor for the first time. We have aligned in a big way with TN’s leading TV channel Star Vijay. We have taken up programs featuring Kollywood’s Top 2 heroines, Ms. Nayanthara and Ms. Trisha for the first time. We have taken up some big experiments for the first time. There is always a first time, after all”.
“What is interesting about both these films, is that one has a direct OTT release, another has a direct TV release, so we are sure fans and followers of both the actresses will be glued to the screens to catch a glimpse of their favorite actresses and we believe, as a Brand, we will get the expected exposure during the two shows, one which is at 10.30 am and the other at 3.30 pm”, said Shriram.
