Trivandrum: The top two general entertainment channel, Star India’s Asianet and Manorama Group owned Mazhavil Manorama has gone HD on the same day, as the Kerala market today (13th August) has seen the arrival of two new high definition channels Mazhavil Manorama HD and Asianet HD.
Manorama Group had their plans well informed as they have advertised and ran a Multimedia campaign on the launch of Mazhavil Manorama HD with a prideful claim of being the first HD channel in Malayalam market.
Star India also seems to have firmed up its plan suddenly to launch its high definition channel today itself and declared the launch of Asianet HD from today (13th August) 6:00PM.
Asianet communications, which has a long 20 plus years of experience in visual media which made uneasable stamp in minds of Keralites residing globally, creates a new history by opening the High Definition visual quality and Dolby 5.1 sound quality to the viewers.
Both HD channel which starts telecast today are likely to follow the FPC of their GEC channels that includes super hit movies, popular serials, reality shows and other entertainment programmes that are available in Asianet.
while both the channels claim that they are the first HD channel in Malayalam Market, the market reaction says that the content only can decide on the real king.
