Press conference announcing the Indian Squad for the ICC CWC to be broadcast LIVE on April 15, 3.30 pm onwards on SS1 and SS1 Hindi –
Mumbai : With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 just, a month and a half away, Star Sports, the official broadcaster for the tournament announces a list of special programming as part of the build up to the Indian team’s squad announcement on April 15, 2019.
These shows will feature legends of the game like Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, VVS Laxman, Sunil Gavaskar, Brian Lara, Sanjay Manjrekar, Kris Srikkanth and Paul Collingwood analysing and voicing their opinion on the squad (pre-post announcement) on Star Sports.
Game plan: Pre-show : On 13th April Star Sports network will broadcast an analysis of the tournament from Team India’s point of view. The show will focus on the challenges for the squad in England and some ‘Down the memory lane’ moments with a few of 1983 and 2011 WC members. The show will air at 1:30 PM on SS 1 and SS 1 Hindi.
Team India: World Cup Selection Press conference – LIVE on Star Sports : On 15th April the press conference will be broadcast. The press conference will be followed by the review of the team, World Cup favourites and a few celebrities wishing the team for the world cup. The press conference will be telecasted Live at 3:30 Pm on SS 1 and SS 1 Hindi
Post Analysis: Follow the Blues : Keeping the excitement alive, a post analysis show will be telecast on 15th April as well. The show will discuss India’s World Cup in detail, predict the likely XI, and debate the form of the players keeping fans ahead of the game at every step of the way. The show will air at 6PM on SS 1 and SS 1 Hindi
