Mumbai : As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 9, Zee TV and Star Plus are the gainers while most other Hindi GECs saw decline in their viewership. Zee TV witnessed a major gain and managed to overpower Colors snatch the No. 2 position in the ongoing tug-of-war between Zee TV and Colors for No. 2 spot.
According to TAM data for week 9, Star Plus, sitting at the No. 1 position, saw its ratings increase marginally to 638 million GVTs in week 9 from 636 million GVTs in week 8. A week earlier its ratings had increased to 636 million GVTs from 623 million GVTs in week 7.
Zee TV regained the second spot with a big increase in ratings this week to 442 million GVTs from 418 million GVTs in week 8. This comes as good news for the channel that saw its ratings fall to 418 million GVTs in week 8 from 448 million GVTs in week 7.
Colors dropped down to No. 3 as the channel saw a major dip in its ratings to 419 million GVTs in week 9 from 444 million GVTs in week 8. This saw the channel fall to the third spot once again. It had managed to be on the second spot last week with a gain in ratings to 444 million GVTs from 434 million GVTs in week 7.
Life OK at No. 4, saw a marginal slip in its ratings to 312 million GVTs in week 9 from 316 million GVTs in week 8. Life OK last week declined to 316 million GVTs down from 330 million GVTs in week 7.
Sitting at No.5 – Sab TV saw its ratings take a fall in week 9 to 265 million GVTs from 286 million GVTs in week 8. It had marginally increased in its ratings last week to 286 million GVTs from 285 million GVTs in week 7.
Followed by Sony TV at No. 7, saw its ratings take a big dip during the week as it once again fell to 235 million GVTs in week 9 from 254 million in week 8. Sony TV had increased its ratings marginally last week to 254 million GVTs in week 8 from 253 million GVTs in week 7.
Star Utsav at 8th position, saw its ratings increase to 102 million GVTs in week 9 from 92 million GVTs a week earlier. While Zee Anmol saw its ratings fall to 98 million GVTs in week 9 from 102 million GVTs in week 8.
Rishtey saw its ratings fall marginally to 53 million GVTs in week 9 from 56 million GVTs in week 8. Big Magic, too, saw its ratings fall to 40 million GVTs in week 9 from 47 million GVTs in week 8.
Sony Pal’s ratings have marginally declined in week 9 to 38 million GVTs from 39 million GVTs in week 8. Zindagi also saw its ratings decline to 20 million GVTs this week from 22 million GVTs in week 8.
Sahara One’s ratings declined to 9 million GVTs this week from 10 million a week earlier. while, Epic channel saw its ratings decline marginally to 7.0 GVTs in week 9 from 7.2 GVTs in week 8.
