Overall Ad Volumes on TV drop by 2% during Nov’21 compared to Nov’20. Week 3-4 in Nov’21 had an increase in ad volume compared to the same respective weeks of Nov’20.
The highest growth which was around 6 percent was observed in the 3rd week of Nov’21. The tally of categories remained unchanged whereas the count of advertisers and brands witnessed a drop of 3% and 1% respectively during Nov’21 over Nov’20.
Milk Beverages rose to 1st spot during Nov’21 from 7th place in Nov’20, followed by Ecom-Media/Ent./Social Media in 2nd spot.
In November of this year, two new categories entered the Top 10- Chocolates and Cars. The top 10 categories accounted for a 31% share of the total Ad Volumes of Nov’21. The tea category saw the highest surge in ad volumes with a growth of 5 times followed by Milk Beverages with 37% growth during Nov’21 compared to Nov’20.

Among the advertisers, Hindustan Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser India were the Top 2 advertisers during both Nov’21 and Nov’20.
5 out of 10 categories saw a positive rank shift in Nov’21 over Nov’20. Brooke Bond Lipton India, Lakme Lever, and Marico were the new entrants in the Top 10 advertisers’ list. The top 10 advertisers had a 39% share of Ad Volumes during Nov’21.
Horlicks was the top brand during Nov’21 followed by Harpic Power Plus 10x Max Clean.
During Nov’21, 4.4 K+ brands appeared on TV. The Top 10 brands had a 9% share of Ad Volumes among which 2 belonged to HUL and 6 belonged to Reckitt Benckiser each.
Eyewear-Lenses topped among the exclusive categories followed by Doors in Nov’21 compared to Nov’20. Flipkart.com was the top exclusive advertiser followed by Sobek Auto India. Dettol Foaming Hand Wash topped among the exclusive brands followed by Tata Sky Binge App.
