Chennai : One of the leading Textiles Retail Brand Pothys has roped in Actor Kamal Haasan as its Brand Ambassador recently and launched the first brand film that portrays the Credibility, Trust and Boding between the customers and the textiles show room Pothys.
Now, Kamal Haasan’s new Pothys Television Commercial (TVC) was released yesterday and the ad was mainly focused on theme on Deepavali.
The TVC shows Kamal Haasan appearing in traditional white & White Silk Dhoti and Shirts in which the actor will be walking through the house filled with Lights and Celebration and says, “Even though our age increases every year, his age will be 10 years on Diwali day alone.
He further goes on saying that, On Diwali day we go to new movies, spend time with friends, take selfies, eat sweets and wear new dress. The Diwali dress will always be special and as we buy it from our most favourite and adorable shop.
Finally, he takes the lamp and lights a Cracker Rocket that Zooms up…..
The TVC was received well by the audience and in-fact it was made in such as way to triggered the festive mood among the masses.
Actor-Photographer Krishna directed all the TVC’s of this Campaign that includes this one minute ad commercial also. Market Sources state that Pothys has paid a huge some of Rs 10 Cr to sign the legendary actor, which happen to be his Commercial endorsement debut.
Roping in Big Stars has become a trend among the Jewellery and Textiles retailers in recent times and it has seen almost every Super Stars from South Indian Film Industry had appeared endorsing the brands with only exception being the matinee idol Super Star Rajinikanth.
It is expected that the competitors are blazing their guns to knock the doors of Rajinikanth with an offer which is higher in many fold than that of what is being offered to Kamal Haasan.
