The Hindu brings back its 'Tamil Nadu Smiling' brand campaign
Share Share ShareShare

Chennai: The Hindu’s Tamil Nadu Smiling, an initiative that helped people overcome the challenges of the pandemic, is back, this time to foster community engagement and interaction through local collaboration.

“Aimed to ‘spread the cheer again’ to our neighbourhoods and communities, the initiative will leverage the power of communities by helping local businesses bounce back to their earlier vigour by giving them the spotlight they deserve. Over the course of the lockdown, we have seen many new businesses mushroom in and around our neighbourhood and plenty of existing small businesses who have been there for us when we needed them the most.

Through this initiative, you can give a shoutout to your next-door neighbour who could be a home baker or even a boutique salon down the street in order to get them featured in The Hindu’s Downtown editions.

The shortlisted businesses will then be invited to join our pop-up markets that will be held across residential apartments in Chennai.” Said the company in its recent press announcement.
