The Spribe Saga – A Rude Awakening For The Whole Industry
Share Share ShareShare

SPRIBE’s Aviator is one of the most popular online games with over 12 million monthly users worldwide. It is live at more than 4,500 online casinos across Asia only. The game is so much in vogue that brands that offer Aviator can see at least a 10% boost in Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR).

However, fake versions of Aviator are popping up, much to the dismay of SPRIBE, the original creator which owns the exclusive intellectual property rights, including trademark protections for its logo. The brand has been ruling the crash -game genre for over five decades.

SPRIBE – The Real OG

The success of Aviator as the most popular crash game can be attributed to its smooth design that enhances the online casino gaming experience. The original version is safe and certified in over 30 jurisdictions, ensuring a fair and legal gaming experience.

The Spribe team drew inspiration from the emerging world of crypto casinos and brought the fast-action crash format into mainstream gaming for the first time. This makes Aviator the original crash game and, while other developers have tried to replicate it, none have come close to delivering the rapid gameplay. The game also delivers top-class social engagement in many countries in the world of online casinos. This is akin to players always coming back for more for the best betting bonus codes in India.

The problems with knock-offs of Aviator

Several third parties are trying to ride on Aviator’s popularity by pushing illegitimate versions. One of the biggest culprits is PopOK Gaming, accused of distributing a near-identical game that misleads both players and operators.

The only official Aviator game features “Aviator | UFC Official Partners” and the registered SPRIBE logo. Anything else is fake.

The unauthorized copies may look like the real game, but they are not as safe and secure. They do not deliver the same level of quality gaming experience. Moreover, no matter how real they look, they come with serious risks.

Some of the bottlenecks in the fake version of Aviator are as follows:

  1. No regulation: There is no regulatory oversight with zero accountability if something goes wrong.
  2. Potential security threats: User’s personal and financial details are not protected.
  3. Lack of fair play: The algorithms are unfair. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the game isn’t rigged.

A Red Flag for the Gaming Industry

The mushrooming of the fake copies of the Aviator game is a serious wake-up call for the gaming sector. While it is not fair to the original developers, the cheap versions are also a threat to the players.

Players need safety and security. They deserve a fair, certified, and trusted gaming experience. A bad experience with the fake version can deter the users from playing games, not just Aviator but also others. Therefore, keeping the faith of users is of utmost importance if the gaming industry wants to flourish even further.

Why the Original Can’t Be Replaced

The original version of Aviator comes with certain protection such as the following:

  • A fair playing field
  • Guaranteed payouts
  • A trusted gaming environment

The Importance for Responsible Gambling

Responsible gambling refers to the practice of gambling for entertainment purposes. The aim is to minimize the potential negative effects of gambling. It should be played for fun and not as a means to make money.

Gambling should be conducted in a safe and fair environment. Casinos and other gambling establishments should have measures in place to ensure that their operations are fair and safe, and they should be regulated to ensure compliance with these standards.

What can the operators and players do to curb the influx of fake copies?

If you’re an operator, you must double-check the game you are about to offer. And if you’re a user, always play on licensed platforms, check for official certifications, and avoid sites that seem dodgy. Only play the original Aviator by SPRIBE.
