New Delhi: TLC, India’s go to lifestyle destination from Discovery Communications India, has emerged on top in the lifestyle genre in the BARC ratings for Week 45. The other leading channels from Discovery Communications India – Discovery Channel and Animal Planet continue to be at 1st and 2nd spot in the infotainment category.**
TLC moved to 1st rank in the Lifestyle Genre by gaining (+30 %) share mainly due to time-spent growth in Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai market. There was also a significant reach growth in afternoon slots – 13:00:00 to 14:00:00 by 70% and 14:00:00 to 15:00:00 by 39%.* 4 shows from TLC – ‘Amsale Girls’, ‘Stefanies Style Diaries’, ‘Inside Hestons World’ and ‘Extreme Cake Makers’ are in Genre’s Top 10.*
