Unilever has named Aseem Puri as chief marketing officer of Unilever International.
In this role he leads a global white space marketing team to launch and build brands globally across new geographies, channels and customers with a focus on digital lead launches, e-Commerce exclusive launches and building a global CRM platform to achieve direct to consumer marketing online.
The markets he covers include North America, Western Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, China, Japan, Korea for Unilever’s complete portfolio of home care, personal care, foods and refreshments brands.
Puri is responsible for brand innovation, digital marketing, digital content & brand communication with top line /bottom line responsibility for fabric cleaning brands across Asia.
Prior to this role, he was senior director marketing for Fabric Cleaning in Asia. With over 12 years’ experience in digital marketing and social media specialist, he is also a marketing trainer with a track record of training over 5000 professionals in marketing skills across leading international marketing forums.
