Mumbai: DriveX Mobility, a fast-growing player in India’s pre-owned two-wheeler market and a subsidiary of TVS Motor Company, has announced the appointment of Vipin Yadav as Vice President and Head of Marketing. A seasoned marketing leader with over 17 years of experience across top consumer brands, Yadav steps into a pivotal leadership role at a time when DriveX is scaling operations across India.
Yadav brings a strong legacy of building high-impact, customer-first marketing strategies. Most recently, he served as the Marketing Director at Hisense India and previously led marketing for Toshiba TV. He also spent over seven years at OPPO India, where he played a key role in establishing the brand’s identity and expanding its market presence during a period of hyper-growth.
At DriveX, Yadav will lead the omnichannel marketing strategy, with oversight across brand development, go-to-market execution, digital innovation, and customer engagement. He is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening DriveX’s positioning as India’s most trusted and tech-forward brand in the mobility space.
“This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of pre-owned two-wheelers,” said Yadav about his new role. “We’re not just redefining the category—we’re building a brand anchored in innovation, trust, and putting customers first. My focus will be on driving impact through authentic, insight-led marketing that resonates deeply and delivers real value.”
Known for combining creative storytelling with data-driven strategy, Yadav has contributed to long-term brand building and has spoken at leading institutions like IIT Delhi and Symbiosis Pune, while also participating in multiple marketing forums and jury panels.
Narain Karthikeyan, Founder & Director at DriveX, commented, “We’re thrilled to have Vipin on board. He brings a sharp understanding of the Indian consumer and the ability to turn insights into strong brand actions. As we grow our footprint and continue to innovate, Vipin’s leadership will help us connect more deeply with our customers.”
Yadav holds a dual MBA in Marketing from the International Management Institute, Europe, and the Indian Institute of Planning & Management, along with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi.
His appointment comes as DriveX accelerates its expansion in the refurbished mobility space, with a vision to scale to 500 outlets by 2027.
