Unico Creative Studios emerges as White Gold bets big on creative industry consolidation

Bangalore: White Gold, one of South India’s fastest-growing financial services brands, has announced a strategic investment in Unico Graphix Private Limited, marking a significant step in the agency’s growth journey. Following the investment, the agency has rebranded as Unico Creative Studios, signalling an expanded creative vision, enhanced capabilities and its ambition to build one of India’s most dynamic creative companies.

As part of the leadership expansion, Meghana Joseph has joined Unico Creative Studios as Director, partnering with existing directors Akshay Kumar and Sharath D M to lead the company into its next phase of growth.

Founded in 2020 by Sharath D M and Akshay Kumar, Unico began as a boutique branding and social media agency focused on building meaningful brand identities. Over the years, it evolved into a full-scale production house delivering television commercials, brand films and large-format content for a growing roster of clients. With its expanding service portfolio and creative ambition, the transition from Unico Graphix to Unico Creative Studios marks a natural evolution of the company.

Now operating as a fully integrated creative and digital solutions studio, Unico Creative Studios offers multidisciplinary services spanning creative storytelling, social campaigns, brand films, digital marketing, immersive experiences including AR and VR, AI-enabled solutions and large-scale content production.

Backed by White Gold’s investment, the studio plans to scale its digital, branding and immersive technology offerings; deliver bespoke regional content solutions across India; strengthen operations through strategic talent acquisition; and enhance its technology infrastructure to support enterprise-scale creative solutions.

A key differentiator for Unico Creative Studios is its focus on regional and vernacular storytelling. Instead of relying on one-size-fits-all campaigns, the agency develops culturally rooted content that reflects local emotions, humour and nuances, enabling brands to connect more authentically with diverse audiences across India.
