Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has strengthened its digital advertisement revenue leadership team with the appointment of Shipra Wahi as Chief Sales Officer for ZEE5, as the company sharpens its focus on accelerating profitability and unlocking new monetisation opportunities in its digital business.
In her new role, Shipra Wahi will lead the strategic revenue agenda for ZEE5 across sales, strategy, and operations, with a focus on building a future-ready digital sales ecosystem and enhancing monetisation opportunities. Based out of Noida, she will report to Sandeep Mehrotra, Chief Operating Officer – Advertisement Revenue.
The appointment comes as the company intensifies efforts to build a robust growth trajectory for ZEE5 through newer revenue models, stronger advertiser solutions, and integrated digital monetisation strategies.
Backed by investments in content, technology, and user experience, ZEE5 has continued to strengthen its digital growth momentum while focusing on delivering greater value to advertisers in an increasingly competitive streaming ecosystem.

Shipra brings over two decades of experience spanning financial services, e-commerce, consumer technology, and consulting across India and the Middle East. Over the course of her career, she has worked with global organisations including Citi, Kearney, Amazon, and Meta.
Prior to joining ZEE5, Shipra was associated with Meta, where she led creator partnerships and ecosystem development initiatives, building expertise across partnerships, digital ecosystems, monetisation, and growth strategy.
The company also highlighted that it has designed a unified and integrated advertisement revenue architecture under Sandeep Mehrotra to capitalise on platform convergence and unlock high-potential revenue opportunities across its digital ecosystem.
