Chennai: Zee Tamil has announced the World Television Premiere of Shivanagam – the fantasy-thriller that is set to enchant the viewers with its striking storyline. The film is scheduled to be telecasted on Sunday, December 24th at 4:00 PM.
Written and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna – the multiple state and Filmfare award winning director who is well known for his work in popular films such as Amman and Arundathi, Shivanagam is sure to captivate the hearts and minds of the audiences.
Set against the backdrop of a village, Naganika, played by Ramya is a powerful member of the community whose family had been entrusted with the responsibility of preserving and protecting an ancient monument since many centuries. In the midst of her quest to fight evil, she is killed by the Evil Tantrik – played by Rajesh Vivek Upadhayay. She stays true to her final vow to avenge her killer in the form of a rebirth as Manasa. Her journey in the battle between good and evil forms the crux of the story.
The film also showcases the mesmerizing cinematography by H.C. Venu and melodious music by Gurukiran.
