Mumbai: As a part of their on-going campaign, Brewed The Hard Way, Budweiser announces Made Stage – a one of its kind musical platform aimed at bringing together home-grown local talent who are truly “brewed the hard way”.

Budweiser Made Stage is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on July 2nd in Todi Mills Social and will see a never before seen collaboration between Dualist Inquiry, India’s leading EDM artist; Kohra, leading DJ and producer, the eclectic cabaret and disco funk duo, Madboy Mink.

The platform has been carefully curated by Budweiser to identify and celebrate Indian talent who have a compelling story to tell through their lives and their music.

MADE Stage is a signature event of Budweiser that brings together local musicians, visual jockeys and performance directors from around the country to create a musical experience that is completely new and liberating. In its inaugural edition this year in Mumbai, audiences will witness a collaboration of music and styles, though different and individualistic, coming together seamlessly to give a unique elevating experience.

According to Vineet Sharma, Associate Marketing Director, AB InBev, India, “Budweiser as a brand has played an integral part in shaping music culture globally. By curating platforms like MADE Stage in India, we aim to create energizing musical experiences which are liberating and truly authentic. We believe that India has some incredible talent to showcase and we would like to help nurture this talent through platforms like MADE Stage. This year, we also throw the spot light on the inspiring stories behind these artists, who have successfully carved a niche for themselves through commitment and hard work, which resonates with the brand and our campaign, Brewed The Hard Way.”

Dualist Inquiry a.k.a Sahej Bakshi, said, “The EDM music scenario in India has been growing exponentially for the past few years and brands like Budweiser have been an active contributor to the growth of this subculture. Platforms like MADE Stage are an essential part of the scene, and an irreplaceable platform for homegrown artists.”

Excited to perform at Made Stage, Kohra aka Madhav Shorey said, “It’s a great time to be an Electronic music artist as well as a dance music follower, in India. The music culture is constantly growing, with the support of an audience that appreciates it and homegrown platforms, like MADE Stage that give artists a chance to display their talent. Budweiser’s MADE Stage is a true platform that celebrates the spirit of EDM and provides an elevated music experience and it gives me a great opportunity to further explore the musical ideas I have and to be able to present them better with a clearer vision”.

Budweiser will also be hosting all the performing artists to  the biggest EDM festival of the world- Tomorrowland; scheduled to take place in Belgium from July 22nd  – July 24th where they will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to not only witness world class EDM acts but also interact with the biggest DJ’s of the world.
