Tinder India Crowd Sources Terribly Tiny Tinder Tales

Tinder India partners with Terribly Tiny Tales to help users gift their partner a story

Mumbai: When Tinder launched in India, it changed the way people met and socialized. It gave Indians, a way to meet and interact with people outside their immediate network.

It’s no surprise that India is now Tinder’s largest market in Asia. From heartwarming relationships to unexpected friendships, from chance encounters to true love, from cherished memories to a lifetime, all around us Tinder users are sharing their stories of great moments and connections that all started with a swipe.

These stories inspired Tinder to partner with Terribly Tiny Tales on a unique campaign to crowd source Tinder stories and anecdotes.

The campaign that kick started on January 23, 2017, saw an overwhelming response, with more than 500 entries submitted in less than 2 weeks. The users shared some really unique and interesting Tinder stories – from downright hilarious to heartwarming.

8 of the most interesting stories were shortlisted and tiny tale versions were created for TTT digital outlets leading up to Valentine’s Day.

This was brought to life through the tales we discovered from hundreds of storytellers in our Terribly Tiny Tales community. This is our third collaboration with Tinder India, and we’re truly happy about the fact that we collectively took it a step further this time” says Chintan Ruparel, Co-founder & Chief Creative Officer of TTT.

Terribly Tiny Tales brings together a diverse pool of fantastic writers to create really short stories every day. From memorable conversations to love at first swipe – this Valentine’s Day, they extended an ear to all stories, heartwarming or hilarious.

TTT and Tinder, through this unique engagement, swiped right on new encounters, relationships, conversations, adventures and misadventures.
