Chennai: Vijay TV is all set to strengthen its afternoon time band, as its going to launch two new fiction dramas- Avalum Nanum and Ponmagal Vandhal.
Vijay TV’s Non-Prime time band in after noon, branded as Vijay Matinee thodargal and the new additional farms the part of the line-up and starts from 26th February 2018.
Avalum Nanum is a family drama based on twin girls Nila and Diya. Nila’s wedding fixed with Praveen, who hails from an even richer family. Nila loves another guy. However, she will fail her attempt in convincing her parents.
So, On the day of her wedding, she leaves a letter for her father and leaves the house. Her father tries to save face by requesting Diya to take Nila’s place. What happens next in their lives? The Fiction has lots of twists and turns.
Actress Mounika will be doing the female lead as Twin sisters- Nila and Diya. She will be making her debut in Tamil television through this fiction. Actor Amruth is playing the male lead as Praveen. The fiction will be directed by Dhanush and it all set to get aired every Monday to Friday at 1. 30 pm.
And, Ponmagal Vandhal is a roller coaster journey of a small-town girl Rohini from her native to a megapolis, her encounter with betrayal, deceit, romance, entrapment and cheating are beautifully intertwined. Rohini is bonded in love with her family. She is ready to give up anything to see them Smile.
Television actress Ayesha plays the female lead. Television actor Vicky will be playing the male lead in this fiction.The fiction is directed by Rasool and the show will be aired every Monday to Friday at 2 pm.
