Mumbai: Kabeer Chaudhary has joined M&C Saatchi Mobile in a newly-created role as Managing Partner for APAC. He will be reporting to Chris Steedman, APAC Managing Director for M&C Saatchi Mobile.
Following the move, Chaudhary will be tasked with continuing the agency’s growth in the Asia Pacific region. He will also be responsible for the business which has grown from a team of 10 to 50 staff.
Prior to the appointment, Chaudhary was regional director for APAC at the agency, and was one of the first few employees hired by M&C Saatchi Mobile in the region. He first joined the company as regional manager in 2015 and took on the regional director role in 2016.
Before M&C Saatchi Mobile, Chaudhary was a senior account manager at Mobtext, Havas Group’s mobile marketing agency. He was also a senior commercial manager at Endemol Shine Group prior to that.
M&C Saatchi Mobile was first launched in 2015 as specialist mobile media agency in Asia Pacific, led by mobile veteran Steedman, who heads the team based in Singapore. He was appointed in 2015 to service the entire APAC region, specifically working with existing clients in the Japan, South Korea, China, Southeast Asia, India, and Australian markets.
M&C Saatchi Mobile’s capabilities include mobile and digital media strategy; planning and buying; creative, branding and rich media; App SEO; search and social. It currently has offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Tokyo and New Delhi servicing some of the largest brands in the region.
