Influencer marketing has been on a rise for more than a decade now. It’s one of the most demanding marketing strategies for brands in India & around the world. There has been a tremendous shift in the influencer marketing segment and its growth in India. Apart from the traditional marketing, influencer marketing is becoming a key pillar of the strategic planning across the sectors. Zefmo’s India Influence Report 2018 points towards the gradual maturing of influencer marketing in India with 14 percent of the marketers suggesting an always on-mode and 16 percent planning to integrate influencer marketing within their marketing strategy.

There are a great amount of ways for brands and influencers to collaborate, but far not all of them result in additional sales for the first ones and profit for the latter. What is the “uniqueness”?

Compared to the regular promo codes, unique ones are connected with the specific publisher, giving him all the chances to draw attention to specific offers with no affiliate links. From now on other publishers will not have an opportunity to profit by taking someone else’s key words and putting them into their links. Target actions are to be attributed to the promo code owner according to the unique promo code id. Efficient tool to monetize traffic

Via using a unique promo code, publishers can be sure that target actions are attributed directly to them. Moreover, they will have more options to tell about the special activity:

  • YouTube-bloggers can mention a unique promo code in their video, rather than just putting put a link in the description.
  • Instagramers can put it both in stories and in their profile bio. Surely, they can also put it under their photos, but how many people would be encouraged to later fill it in manually?
  • The promo codes can also be used offline. You can give them out as flyers during the events, in gyms, cinemas, beauty parlors or mention them in the restaurant bills, which allows to cover a much bigger audience.

Influencer marketing & affiliate marketing goes hand in hand

Now, influencers have become important intermediaries in facilitating authentic relationships between a brand and their customers, something on which the affiliate market thrives on. Influencers within the affiliate network are providing the customer with an option of instantaneous purchase. The customer can see a product and be redirected to the website without any lag. This is positively affecting the ROI and conversion rate.

Married with affiliate marketing, influencer marketing is going to revolutionise the digital marketing scenario with a more sophisticated referral and client targeting system which reaps better results for everyone.
