Chennai: Tamil News and Current affairs Channel, News7 Tamil is all set to launch the Second Edition of the coveted Tamil Ratna Award for the year 2019.
The show got bigger and better with the participation of TamilNadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) as the Chief Guest along with senior ministers of his cabinet and top bureaucrats of the state administration.
On its Sixth Anniversary, News7 Tamil presents Tamil Ratna award is set to honour and felicitate talented personalities who have contributed to the development and welfare of TamilNadu in various fields and its glory among the diaspora across the globe.
A distinguished committee of Jurors carefully monitored the selection process of winners of Tamil Ratna Awards 2019. The Navaratna awards are to be given away in the fields of Music, Drama, Cinema, Business, Sports and Women empowerment.
Further, to acknowledge and honour the budding heroes of the younger generation, “Yuva Sakthi”, special awards for three youngsters are being given to those who are an inspiration to today’s generation.
To crown it all, lifetime contribution shall be acknowledged as ” Tamil Ratna” and honoured with a trophy and citation. The grand Award Event will be held at Kalaivanar Arangam on 22nd Oct’19 from 6 PM onwards.
